Feedback from developers like you have helped us shape and refine Visual Studio 17.1 through its preview cycle and we’d like to thank you for your part in Visual Studio’s journey. Today, Visual Studio 2022 17.1 graduates from preview and reaches general availability. We’ve since updated the post to fix our error. This feature is only present in the 17.2 Preview release. Correction: We mistakenly indicated that a new feature for automatically saving files when Visual Studio moves to the background was available in the 17.1 GA release.
